Philippe Theys, Centrale Paris alumnus, spent 32 years with Schlumberger, as field engineer, interpretation development manager, in R&D with their logging while drilling group and finally as worldwide Data Quality manager.
He is deeply involved with SPWLA, the Society of Petrophysicists and Log Analysts and was its President in 2000. He is now consulting for the oil companies on data quality issues.
